The Blue Lions Indoor Field Hockey Registration

 

All players will be required to become members of USA Field Hockey and affiliate with Blue Lions Field Hockey Club. *This is for insurance purposes*​

Practice times will occur at Nittany Valley Sports Centre: 

Days and Times to be determined. 

Winter Indoor Field Hockey

(Approx. November 11 - March 2)

 

All training will be held at the Nittany Valley Sports Centre.

Competitive Program

U10/U12/U14/U16/U19 

(Players must be in 3rd grade or above)

  • Train twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays 
  •  Compete in local 6v6 tournaments 

Showcase Program

U14/U16/U19

  • Players must try out and are selected by coaches
  • Train twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays and compete in local, regional, and National 6v6 tournaments

What is Indoor field hockey?

Indoor field hockey consists of 5 field players and a goalie. It is played on a basketball or hard court and has its own set of rules that differ from outdoor. It is a fast-paced game that is exciting to play and to watch.
